ASALTANDO LAS PUERTAS DEL INFIERNO

"Y yo también te digo, que tú eres Pedro, y sobre esta roca edificaré mi iglesia; y las puertas del Hades no prevalecerán contra ella. Y a ti te daré las llaves del reino de los cielos; y todo lo que atares en la tierra será atado en los cielos; y todo lo que desatares en la tierra será desatado en los cielos."  Mateo 16:18-19

 Quiero que veamos a este mundo como una gran fortaleza construida por Satanás. Satanás ha construido un muro alrededor de este mundo. Utilizando piedras del materialismo, la educación, la política, la ignorancia, la religión y muchas otras cosas, ha construido lo que parece ser una defensa invencible contra el evangelio. Dentro de estas paredes, millones de personas mueren cada día sin Cristo. Considere las paredes que Satanás ha constituido alrededor de este mundo y verás las puertas del infierno cerrado al avance del evangelio.

Esto es lo que el Señor tenía en mente cuando le dijo a Pedro: "Edificaré mi iglesia, y las puertas del hades no prevalecerán contra ella." Él no dijo: "Edificaré mi iglesia, y aunque toda la fuerza de infierno se lanza contra ella, mi iglesia estará firme" Sin embargo, esa es la forma en que muy a menudo muchos predicadores y creyentes presentan este verso, cuando en realidad Jesús estaba diciendo todo lo contrario.

¡Las puertas no son armas ofensivas! Una ciudad nunca carga con sus puertas a la batalla. Las puertas son instrumentos de defensa. Se construyen  para resistir los asaltos de ejércitos que atacan.

Dos cosas deben ser claras del uso de esta metáfora por el Señor.

A. ¡Satanás está en la defensa!

     Él es como los ciudadanos de Jericó, escondiéndose detrás de las murallas de la ciudad, temiendo el ataque del pueblo de Dios.

B. ¡La iglesia es la que está en el ataque!

    Deberíamos confiadamente llevar la batalla a todos los lugares donde vemos las puertas del infierno construido con la confianza que no prevalecerán contra nosotros, no puede prevalecer contra la iglesia que ejerce la autoridad dada por Jesús a ella.

LA NATURALEZA AUTORITARIA DE LA IGLESIA (v-18)

A. El significado de la palabra iglesia (ekklesia) es. "Una asamblea llamada afuera" Hechos 15:14 nos da quizás la definición más clara de una iglesia: "Simón ha contado como Dios visito por primera vez a los gentiles, pará tomar de ellos pueblo pará Su Nombre."

B. Jesús optó por utilizar esta palabra debido a las similitudes entre la iglesia y la ekklesias de ese día.

C. La Ekklesia era una asamblea con autoridad que rige los asuntos del pueblo. Y Jesús no alterar su significado.

D. En estos versículos Jesús habla de "llaves" y "atar y desatar". Estos son términos de autoridad. Jesús estaba declarando sus intenciones de llamar un grupo de personas que se reúnen en su nombre. Eso sería investido de su autoridad y que llevaría a cabo su voluntad en la tierra.

E. La Iglesia no Satanás, mantiene el equilibrio de poder en el evangelismo mundial.

F. Mateo introduce la Gran Comisión con las palabras: "Toda potestad me es dada en el cielo y en la tierra."

G. ¡Esta declaración invierte a la iglesia con el potencial de ser la fuerza más poderosa en la Tierra!

LA NATURALEZA AGRESIVA DE LA IGLESIA:

A. La iglesia debe estar en la marcha (v-18)

B. La imagen que Cristo utiliza es de un ejército en el campo avanzando contra una ciudad fortificada.

1. El término "puertas del infierno" nos dice que el ejército de Satanás está preparado, dispuesto a defender su territorio.

2. Hay lugares en este mundo donde Satanás tiene gente esclavizada.

3. No podemos librar a ninguna alma de la esclavitud sin cuestionar la autoridad de Satanás.    

4. La iglesia debe estar en el ataque, luchando para romper las defensas del diablo y librar a los perdidos de su poder.

C. ¡Cuando las puertas del infierno son atacados, caerán!

    1. Jesús prometió que las puertas del infierno no prevalecerán contra la iglesia.

2. Sabemos por experiencia que llevando la luz a los lugares oscuros se encuentra con una feroz resistencia.

3. Sólo cuando las puertas del infierno se derrumban  podemos hacer el evangelio disponible a las personas.

4. Esto no significa que caigan fácilmente. Pero, a través de la oración, el ayuno y la lucha persistente, las puertas del infierno pueden ser forzadas.

Este mundo está fuertemente fortificada y firmemente en manos de Satanás. Sólo la oración y el ayuno pueden prevalecer contra las puertas del infierno que Satanás  ha edificado, y sólo a través de la oración y el ayuno podemos derrumbarse los muros de resistencia que rodea a las personas con las que mantiene cautivo. Por esta razón, la oración y el ayuno debe ser nuestra primera línea de avance.

No hay sustituto por las oraciones fervientes y persistentes y el ayuno de la iglesia. La obra de la evangelización de este mundo no será lograda sin ello. Hay que organizar y movilizar a la iglesia en oración y ayuno para asaltar las puertas del infierno que prohíben el avance del evangelio en este mundo.

Es tiempo de que algunos de ustedes dejar de ser sólo una línea de suministro para nuestros hermanos que están evangelizando y unirse a ellos en la primera línea a través de la oración y la acción.

STORMING THE GATES OF HELL

"And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Matthew 16:18-19

I want us to view this world as a great fortress constructed by Satan. Satan has built a wall around this world. Using stones of materialism, education, politics, ignorance, religion, and many other things, he has constructed what appears to be an impregnable defense against the Gospel. Within these walls, millions of people die every day without Christ. Consider the walls that Satan has erected around this world and you will see the Gates of Hell shut and barred against the advancement of the Gospel.

This is what Jesus had in mind when He said to Peter, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” He did not say, “I will build my church, and though all the strength of hell be hurled against it, my church shall stand.” Yet, that is the way this verse is often portrayed by many preachers and believers when in fact Jesus was stating just the opposite.  

Gates are not offensive weapons! A city never carried its gates into battle. Gates are instruments of defense. They are erected to withstand the assaults of attacking armies.

Two things should be clear from Jesus’ use of this metaphor.

A. Satan is on the defense!

He is like the citizens of Jericho, hiding behind their city walls, fearing the attack of God’s people.

B. The church is to be on the attack!

We should confidently take the battle to every place where we see the gates of hell erected with the confidence that they will not prevail against us, it cannot stand against the church that exercises the authority given her by Jesus.

THE AUTHORITATIVE NATURE OF THE CHURCH (v-18)

A. The meaning of the word church (ekklesia) is “an assembly of called-out ones.” Acts 15:14 gives us perhaps the clearest definition of a church: “Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name."

B. Jesus chose to use this word because of the similarities between the church and the Ekklesias of that day.

C. The Ekklesia was an authoritative body that governed the affairs of the people. And Jesus did not alter its meaning.

D. In these verses, Jesus speaks of “keys” and “binding and loosing.” These are terms of authority. Jesus was declaring His intentions of calling out a body of people who would meet in His Name. That would be invested with His authority and that would implement His will upon the earth.

E. The Church, not Satan, holds the balance of power in world evangelism.

F. Matthew introduces the Great Commission with the words; “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."

G. That declaration invests the church with the potential to be the mightiest force on Earth!

THE AGGRESSIVE NATURE OF THE CHURCH:

A. The church is to be on the march (v-18)

B. The image Christ uses is of an army in the field advancing on a fortified city.

1. The term “gates of hell” tells us that Satan’s army is dug in, prepared to defend its territory.

2. There are places in this city where he holds people bondage.

3. We can’t deliver a single soul from bondage without challenging Satan’s authority.

4. The church is to be on the attack, battling to break through the devil’s defenses and deliver the lost from his power.

C. When the gates of hell are attacked, they will fall!

1. Jesus promised that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church.

2. We know from experience that taking the light into dark places is met with fierce resistance.

3. Only when the gates of hell are broken down can we make the Gospel available to the people.

4. This doesn’t mean that they will fall easily. But, through persistent prayer, fasting, and struggle, the gates of hell can be forced open.

This world is strongly fortified and firmly held by Satan. Only prayer and fasting can prevail against the Gates of Hell he has set up, and only through prayer and fasting can we crumble the walls of resistance that surrounds the people he holds captive. For this reason, prayer and fasting must be our first line of advance.

There is no substitute for the fervent, persistent prayers, and fasting of the church. The work of evangelizing this world will not be accomplished without it. We must organize and mobilize the church in prayer and fasting to assault the Gates of Hell that prohibit the advance of the Gospel in this world.

It is time that some of you quit being just a supply line for our brothers who are evangelizing and join them on the front lines through prayer and action.

 

CÓMO LUCHAR

“Porque no tenemos lucha contra sangre y carne, sino contra principados, contra potestades, contra los gobernadores de las tinieblas de este siglo, contra huestes espirituales de maldad en las regiones celestes.” (Efesios 6:12)

“Porque las armas de nuestra milicia no son carnales, sino poderosas en Dios para la destrucción de fortalezas.” (II Corintios 10:4)

¿Puedes ver lo que Satanás está haciendo? Busca robarnos, matarnos y destruirnos. Él quiere que estemos tan paralizados por el miedo a Covid-19 que nos escondamos en nuestros hogares y nos aislemos. Él está tratando de destruir la iglesia y dividirnos como nación.

La gente parece pensar que la única forma de obtener justicia es protestar, cambiar cierta ley o elegir a alguien nuevo para el cargo, pero todas estas son armas de la carne. Como hijos de Dios, debemos entender que esta no es una guerra que ganaremos con armas carnales. ¡Es una batalla espiritual! Debemos orar por la unidad del pueblo de Dios. Debemos orar contra los planes del diablo de destruir la iglesia, nuestra nación y establecer su Nuevo Orden Mundial. El diablo se esconde a simple vista, y hasta ahora, sus planes parecen estar funcionando, pero podemos frustrar los planes del enemigo con nuestras oraciones unificadas. Son nuestras armas más poderosas. ¡Tus oraciones son más poderosas de lo que piensas, y el diablo lo sabe!

Oración imprecatoria es un término teológico. La palabra “imprecatorios” se deriva de “imprecación”, que es un sinónimo de “maldición”. Es la palabra de la oración que ataca y busca destruir a su objeto. Es, de hecho, el equivalente cristiano de poner una maldición sobre algo (nunca sobre alguien). Lo más extremo que podemos ir en esa dirección como cristianos es orar por la justicia. En algunos casos, como la muerte de Herodes en Hechos 12, la muerte de una persona o personas bien puede ser el resultado, pero no debemos buscarlo (Lucas 9:54-56). Deberíamos orar por el final del mal que estamos atacando, y orar por el perdón, y salvación, de aquellos que están involucrados en ella.

Hay muchos ejemplos bíblicos de ello, especialmente en el Libro de los Salmos. La oración imprecatoria es muy efectiva para parar el mal; y por esta razón es algo que cada cristiano debería aprender a hacer. Con este tipo de oración podemos atacar agresivamente blancos del enemigo y destruirlos y simultáneamente traer a muchas personas a la salvación y también traer el avivamiento.

 

HOW TO FIGHT BACK

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” (II Corinthians 10:4)

Can you see what Satan is doing? He seeks to steal, kill, and destroy us.  He wants us to be so crippled with fear of Covid-19 that we hide in our homes and isolate ourselves. He is trying to destroy the church and divide us as a nation.

People seem to think the only way we get justice is to protest, and riot, and change this law or elect someone new to the office, but these are all weapons of our flesh. As children of God, we should understand that this is not a war we will win with carnal weapons. It is a spiritual battle! We must pray for the unity of God's people? We must pray against the devils plans to destroy the church, our nation and establish his New World Order? The devil is hiding in plain sight, and so far, his plans seem to be working, but we can thwart the enemy’s plans with our unified prayers. They are our most powerful weapons. Your prayers are more powerful than you think, and the devil knows it!

Imprecatory Prayer is a theological term. The word “imprecatory” is derived from “imprecation”, which is a synonym for “curse”. It is the word for prayer that attacks and seeks to destroy its object. It is, in fact, the Christian equivalent of putting a curse on something (never on someone). The furthest we can go in that direction as Christians is to pray for justice. In some cases, such as the death of Herod in Acts 12, the death of a person or people may well be the result, but we must not seek it (Luke 9:54-56). We should pray for the end of the evil we are attacking, and pray for the forgiveness, and salvation, of those who are involved in it. 

There are many Biblical examples of it, especially in the Book of Psalms. Imprecatory prayer is highly effective for stopping evil, and for that reason is something that every Christian should learn to do. With this type of praying, we can aggressively attack enemy targets and destroy them and simultaneously bringing many people to salvation and also bringing revival.

 

 

LA VERDAD SOBRE LOS FANTASMAS

“No se encontrará entre ustedes... uno que use adivinación, un adivino, o un mago, o un hechicero, o un encantador, o uno que consulte a un fantasma o un espíritu familiar, o un nigromante. Porque todo el que hace estas cosas es abominación a Jehová” (Deut.18: 10-12).

¿Existe tal cosa como los fantasmas? La respuesta a esta pregunta depende del significado del término "fantasmas". Si el término significa "seres espirituales", la respuesta es "sí". Si el término significa "espíritus de personas que han muerto", la respuesta es "no". La Biblia deja en claro que hay seres espirituales, tanto buenos como malos. Pero la Biblia niega la idea de que los espíritus de los seres humanos fallecidos pueden permanecer en la tierra y "acechar " a los vivos. Hebreos 9:27 declara: "El hombre está destinado a morir una vez, y después de eso para enfrentar el juicio". Eso es lo que le sucede al espíritu - alma de una persona después de la muerte: el juicio. El resultado de este juicio es el cielo para el creyente (II Corintios 5: 6-8; Filipenses 1:23) y el infierno para el incrédulo (Mateo 25:46; Lucas 16: 22-24). No hay ningún intermediario.  No hay posibilidad de permanecer en la tierra en forma de espíritu como un "fantasma".

Las evidencias bíblicas muestran que no hay espíritu de los muertos deambulando por la tierra en forma espiritual. Nadie regresa a la tierra y hace apariciones después de la muerte. Jesús dejó este hecho bastante claro en Lucas 16:26. En el pasaje, un hombre rico que quería la oportunidad de regresar a la tierra desde el infierno y advertir a sus hermanos, sin embargo, Abraham le dice: "Y además de todo esto, entre nosotros y usted se ha solucionado un gran abismo, para que aquellos que quieran ir de aquí a ti no puedes, ni nadie puede cruzar de allí a nosotros”. El simple hecho es que nuestros seres queridos no van a regresar como apariciones en nuestros hogares después de que pasen. Se han ido a destino eterno. Si existen fantasmas, según la Biblia, no son los espíritus incorpóreos de los seres humanos fallecidos. Mientras que los ángeles y los demonios pueden recorrer nuestra tierra, Dios no permitirá que un ser querido fallecido regrese a este mundo.

La Biblia enseña muy claramente que de hecho hay seres espirituales que pueden conectarse y aparecer en nuestro mundo físico. Los espíritus a menudo se discuten a lo largo de las Escrituras. La Biblia identifica a estos seres como ángeles y demonios. Los ángeles son seres espirituales que son fieles al servir a Dios. Los ángeles son justos, buenos y santos. Los demonios son ángeles caídos, ángeles que se rebelaron contra Dios. Los demonios son malvados, engañosos y destructivos. Según II Corintios 11: 14-15, los demonios se hacen pasar por "ángeles de la luz" y como "siervos de la justicia".

El interés por lo paranormal se está volviendo cada vez más común. Los seres humanos son innatamente conscientes del mundo espiritual. Lamentablemente, en lugar de buscar la verdad sobre el mundo espiritual comunicándose con Dios y estudiando Su Palabra, muchas personas se dejan llevar por el mundo espiritual. Satanás se aprovecha de la ignorancia de las personas para victimizarlas. Los fantasmas usan su fuerza espiritual para dañar a la humanidad. En los tiempos actuales hay un predominio de demonios que afectan a la humanidad. Todos los fantasmas y demonios están controlados por Satanás.

Satanás dirige un gobierno paralelo contra Dios, que se conoce como el "reino de las tinieblas" (Colosenses 1:13). Aunque Satanás es sabio, él no es el Omnisciente que Dios es. Por lo tanto, falsifica todo en el reino de Dios para engañar a los santos y llevarlos a la adoración falsa.

Los fantasmas son espíritus demoníacos que están familiarizados con un entorno o familia en particular. Debido a que han estado en esa familia o entorno mucho más tiempo que incluso los humanos, también están "familiarizados" con la historia de la familia y el entorno, y por lo tanto pueden imitar a la (s) persona (s) que se disfrazan / disfrazan. No ignores los dispositivos de Satanás ni te dejes engañar por sus mentiras. "Las personas son destruidas por falta de conocimiento" (Oseas 4: 6).

Los fantasmas pueden tomar cualquier forma. Sin embargo, estas formas pueden cambiar, dependiendo de lo que el fantasma esté tratando de lograr. Por ejemplo, si el fantasma está tratando de intimidar, tomará una forma intimidante, mientras que si está tratando de engañar a una persona espiritual, puede tomar la forma de un ángel. También pueden tomar la forma de nuestros antepasados ​​difuntos, lo que engaña a los psíquicos y a las personas que acuden a los psíquicos para preguntar sobre los parientes fallecidos. Esto es cierto en casi todos los casos. Aparecer como un "fantasma" y hacerse pasar por un ser humano fallecido definitivamente parece estar dentro del poder y las habilidades que poseen los demonios.

¿Qué pasa con los casos en que los "fantasmas" actúan de manera "positiva"? ¿Qué pasa con los psíquicos que dicen convocar al difunto y obtener información verdadera y útil de ellos? Nuevamente, es crucial recordar que el objetivo de los demonios es engañar. Si el resultado es que las personas confían en un psíquico en lugar de Dios, un demonio estará más que dispuesto a revelar información verdadera. Incluso la información buena y verdadera, si proviene de una fuente con motivos malvados, puede usarse para engañar, corromper y destruir.

El término de la Nueva Era para estos espíritus son "energías positivas" o "buenos espíritus" y si los encuentros son severos lo llaman "energías negativas" o "energías oscuras" o "malos espíritus". En casos extremos, dirían que es una "entidad oscura" o un "demonio".

Se cree que estas energías son los espíritus de los muertos que están atrapados en el limbo, sin cruzarse a la luz. Se dice que estos espíritus permanecen en su casa o propiedad pasada o incluso se unen a un miembro de la familia. Esto se llama embrujado. Estos espíritus que acechan alrededor de las propiedades son, de hecho, demonios que toman las personalidades de una persona muerta, pero no son la persona muerta en sí.

Aunque lo embrujado es real, no hay limbo como lo están enseñando los de la Nueva Era y no hay purgatorio como lo enseña la Iglesia Católica. El alma de una persona va directamente al cielo o al infierno después de la muerte, sin regresar. Las almas de los muertos se encuentran dentro del confinamiento de la eternidad y su juicio, Hebreos 9:27; están limitados por las leyes de su destino (Lucas 16: 20-31).

Una de las escrituras más profundas sobre esto se encuentra en: Job 7: 9, “Como la nube se consume y se desvanece: así el que desciende a la tumba no volverá más. Job 7:10: "No volverá más a su casa, ni su lugar lo conocerá más". También en Eclesiastés 9: 5, “Porque los vivos saben que morirán; pero los muertos no saben nada, ni tienen ya una recompensa; porque el recuerdo de ellos se olvida. También su amor, y su odio, y su envidia, ahora perecieron; tampoco tienen una porción para siempre en nada que se haga bajo el sol".

Los fantasmas son demonios que se hacen pasar por personas muertas. Satanás y sus seguidores son mentirosos, con la intención de difundir la confusión, el miedo y la desconfianza de Dios. Si pueden convencer a los médiums, como la mujer de Endor (I Samuel 28), de que realmente se comunican con los muertos, esos demonios pueden alejar a muchos de Dios: “... para que Satanás no nos burle. Porque no desconocemos sus planes. (II Corintios 2:11)

La Biblia nos dice que existe un reino espiritual, invisible para los ojos humanos. Está poblado por Dios y sus ángeles, Satanás y sus ángeles caídos o demonios. A pesar de las afirmaciones de los no creyentes, no hay fantasmas deambulando por la tierra. Los espíritus de los humanos fallecidos habitan uno de dos lugares: el cielo o el infierno.

THE TRUTH ABOUT GHOSTS

“There shall not be found among you … one that useth divination, a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or one that consulteth a ghost or a familiar spirit, or a necromancer. For whosoever doeth these things is an abomination unto the LORD” (Deut.18:10-12).

Is there such a thing as ghosts? The answer to this question depends on what is meant by the term “ghosts.” If the term means “spirit beings,” the answer is “yes.” If the term means “spirits of people who have died,” the answer is “no.” The Bible makes it clear that there are spirit beings, both good and evil. But the Bible negates the idea that the spirits of deceased human beings can remain on earth and “haunt” the living. Hebrews 9:27 declares, “Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” That is what happens to a person’s soul-spirit after death—judgment. The result of this judgment is heaven for the believer (II Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23) and hell for the unbeliever (Matthew 25:46; Luke 16:22-24). There is no in-between. There is no possibility of remaining on earth in spirit form as a “ghost.”

Biblical evidence show, there is no spirit of the dead roaming about the earth in spirit form. No one returns to earth and makes appearances after death. Jesus made this fact quite clear in Luke 16:26. In the passage a rich man who wanted a chance to return to earth from Hell and warn his brothers, however, Abraham tells him: “And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.” The simple fact is that our loved ones are not going to return as apparitions in our homes after they past. They have moved on completely. If there are such things as ghosts, according to the Bible, they are not the disembodied spirits of deceased human beings. While angels and demons can roam our earth, God is not going to allow a deceased loved one to come back into this world.

The Bible teaches very clearly that there are indeed spirit beings that can connect with and appear in our physical world. Spirits are often discussed throughout scripture. The Bible identifies these beings as angels and demons. Angels are spirit beings who are faithful in serving God. Angels are righteous, good, and holy. Demons are fallen angels, angels who rebelled against God. Demons are evil, deceptive, and destructive. According to II Corinthians 11:14-15, demons masquerade as “angels of light” and as “servants of righteousness.”

Interest in the paranormal is becoming increasingly common. Human beings are innately aware of the spiritual world. Sadly, instead of seeking the truth about the spirit world by communing with God and studying His Word, many people allow themselves to be led astray by the spirit world. Satan takes advantage of people’s ignorance in order to victimize them. Ghosts use their spiritual strength to harm humanity. In current times there is a predominance of demons affecting mankind. All ghosts and demons are controlled by Satan.

Satan runs a parallel government against God, which is known as the “kingdom of darkness” (Colossians 1:13). Even though Satan is wise, he is not the Omniscient that God is. Therefore, he counterfeits everything in the kingdom of God in order to deceive the saints into false worship.

Ghosts are demon spirits who are familiar with a particular environment or family. Because they have been in that family or environment far longer than even the humans, they are ‘familiar’ with the history of the family and the environment as well, and so are able to mimic the person(s) they disguise/masquerade as. Do not be ignorant of Satan’s devices nor allow yourself to be taken in by his lies. “People are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).

Ghosts can take up any form. These forms can however change, depending on what the ghost is trying to achieve. For example, if the ghost is trying to intimidate, it will take up an intimidating form, whereas if it is trying to fool a spiritual person it may take a form of an angel. They can also take the form of our departed ancestors thus misleading psychics and the people who come to psychics to enquire about departed relatives. This is true in almost all cases. Appearing as a “ghost” and impersonating a deceased human being definitely seem to be within the power and abilities that demons possess.

What about instances in which “ghosts” act in “positive” ways? What about psychics who claim to summon the deceased and gain true and useful information from them? Again, it is crucial to remember that the goal of demons is to deceive. If the result is that people trust in a psychic instead of God, a demon will be more than willing to reveal true information. Even good and true information, if from a source with evil motives, can be used to mislead, corrupt, and destroy.

The New Age term for these spirits are "positive energies" or "good spirits" and if the encounters are severe they call it a "negative energies" or "dark energies" or "bad spirits". In extreme cases they would say its a "dark entity" or a "demon." 

These energies are thought to be the spirits of the dead who are trapped in limbo, not having a crossover into the light. These spirits are said to linger in their past house or property or even attached themselves to a family member. This is called Haunted. These spirits lurking around properties are in fact Demons taking up personalities of a dead person, but is not the actual dead person themselves.

Though haunting is real, there is no limbo as the New Agers are teaching and there is no purgatory as the Catholic Church teaches. The soul of a person goes straight to heaven or hell after death, no coming back. The souls of the dead are set within the confine of eternity and their judgment, Hebrews 9:27; they are constrained by the laws of their destination, (Luke 16:20-31).

One of the most profound scripture on this is found in: Job 7:9, “As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more. Job 7:10, “He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him anymore.” Also in Ecclesiastes 9:5, “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun.” 

Ghosts are demons posing as dead people. Satan and his followers are liars, intent on spreading confusion, fear, and distrust of God. If they can convince mediums, like the witch of Endor (I Samuel 28), that they actually communicate with the dead, those demons can lure many away from God: “…in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.” (II Corinthians 2:11)

The Bible tells us that a spiritual realm does exist, invisible to human eyes. It is populated by God and his angels, Satan, and his fallen angels, or demons. Despite the claims of unbelievers, there are no ghosts wandering about the earth. The spirits of deceased humans inhabit one of two places: heaven or hell.

 

CONFORMARSE CON MENOS DE LO MEJOR

Josué 1: 10-15; Números 32: 1-7

Los rubenitas, los gaditas y la media tribu de Manasés solo pensaban en sí mismos, tenían todo lo que habían buscado al salir de Egipto. No les preocupaba el hecho de que no podían recibir las promesas de Dios a menos que cruzaran el río Jordán y tomaran la tierra que Dios les había dado.

No pudieron ver que tenían una herencia en la nueva tierra. No lograron entrar en lo mejor que Dios tenía para ellos.

A. ¿Cómo podemos saber si hemos decidido conformarnos con menos de lo que Dios tiene para nosotros?

B. ¿Cuáles son las características de la vida que se vive por debajo de lo que Dios pretendía para nosotros?

C. ¿Cómo podemos saber que hemos cruzado el río?

 

SI ESTOY SATISFECHO CON SABER ACERCA DE DIOS EN LUGAR DE CONOCER A DIOS.

A. ¿Un hombre que está enamorado se conformaría con conocer detalles sobre su novia o una foto de ella, cuando podría estar con ella?

B. La vida eterna no es solo conocer a Dios, es tener a Dios en tu vida.

C. Es imprescindible que tengamos un encuentro y experiencia real y personal con Dios.

 

SI DISFRUTAMOS DE UNA EXPERIENCIA SUPERFICIAL O GENERAL DEL ESPÍRITU SANTO

A. Tener el Espíritu Santo, pero no dejar que el Espíritu nos tenga.

B. Si estamos satisfechos con el avivamiento o el movimiento del Espíritu Santo en otra persona.

C. Cuando nuestras experiencias en el Espíritu Santo no son personales o directas, pero compartido del ministerio de otra persona. Necesitamos nuestras propias bendiciones.        

D.  No tienes que compartir en la unción de otros.

 

CUANDO PERMANECEMOS CON UN EVENTO CUANDO DIOS OFRECE UNA EXPERIENCIA

 

A. Algunos viven con una cita, cuándo o dónde sucedió algo, en lugar de una experiencia continua.

B. No solo tener el Espíritu, sino crecer en el Espíritu.
