¡CUIDADO!

 

“Velad y orad, para que no entréis en tentación…” (Mateo 26:41) 

La Palabra de Dios nos dice que el diablo “viene pare hurtar y matar y destruir” (Juan 10:10).  A Satanás le gusta cuando hacemos cosas innecesarias, imprudentes, inoportunas y ridículas. El quiere engañarnos y hacernos cree que tales impulsos vienen de Dios. No hay un caso en la Biblia donde Dios llevo a una persona hacer una cosa extraña. ¡Convoque a éstos impulsos antes un tribunal de examen!  La Palabra de Dios nos dice claramente “probad los espíritus si son de Dios” (I Juan 4:1). ¿Pero cómo podemos hacer esto?

CUIDA TUS SENTIMIENTOS:

Muchos han seguido sus sentimientos en vez de sus convicciones. Muchas personas no hacen ciertas cosas porque no sienten hacerlo. Cuando usted permite que sea dirigido por sus sentimientos, es como permitir un niño que lo juzga. 

CUIDA TU IMAGINACIÓN:

Todos poseemos el poder de la fantasía. El diablo le gusta usarlo. Extenderá sobre ello su ilusión.  Aquí está una ilusión favorita del diablo. Una persona tendrá una impresión que él debería tener cierto nombramiento deseable. Él está completamente seguro que él lo merece; y que él es el mejor calificado para ello que alguien más; y que la vida será sin valor si él no lo recibe. 

Tal persona vivirá en la excitación de su nombramiento pendiente hasta que él babea con suspensa y la perspectiva de ventajas inmediatas que él está seguro debe ser de el. Entonces el globo se revienta. La decepción es casi una enfermedad. Hay tanto dolor incontrolable que borda a un colapso nervioso. Satán le ha jugado una broma cruel.

TENGA CUIDADO CON LOS SUEÑOS:

Dios ha hablado a personas por sueños. Este era mucho más evidente antes que el Espíritu Santo fue dado. Un sueño puede ser de Dios, o esto puede ser el resultado de un malestar estomacal. La Biblia habla “de sueños falsos” y “soñadores que mancillan la carne,” y se queja de aquellos que hacen que la gente se olvide de Dios por “sus sueños” (Jeremías 23:27).

No atribuya de prisa cosas a Dios. No suponga fácilmente que sueños, voces, impresiones, visiones, o revelaciones son de Dios. Pueden ser de Él, o puede ser de la naturaleza. Estos también pueden ser del diablo. Por lo tanto no crea a todo espíritu, pero "probad los espíritus si son de Dios.”

TENGA CUIDADO CON TUS IMPULSOS:   

Recuerde esto; Dios nunca apresura a la gente a hacer cosas dudosas. El diablo hace esto. ¡Él siempre le dirá, hágalo ahora! Los impulsos equivocados han provocado muchas decepciones y desilusiones, vergüenza, matrimonios equivocados, hogares rotos y vidas destrozadas. ¡Tome su tiempo! ¡Pruébelo! Si usted tiene una duda sobre algo, no lo haga. Esto es lo que le pasó a Pedro cuando él saco su espada en el jardín.

TENGA CUIDADO CON SUS PREJUICIOS E IDEAS PRECONCIBIDOS:

Este es una forma de la sordera espiritual. Dios tuvo que hablarle muy fuerte a Pedro. No era fácil convencerlo que el evangelio debería ser predicado a los gentiles. Pedro fue dado una visión y tuvo que ser repetida antes de que él entendiera. Dios siempre tiene que tratar con el prejuicio en nuestros corazones. Estos dos jueces; los prejuicios y las ideas preconcebidas, siempre interpretar mensajes de acuerdo con sus propias opiniones. Ellos son ladrones. Obstaculizan nuestras vidas. Obstaculizan el éxito. Han engañado a millones.                         

TENGA CUIDADO CON LA CARNE:

El cuerpo a menudo pide la satisfacción excesiva y gratificación ilegal. Su apetito puede descontrolarse. ¡Su cuerpo va a exigir un trato especial! (Gálatas 5:17). La carne debe mantenerse bajo control. No hay ninguna otra manera. Es similar a la hierba. Es una batalla constante, pero la cosecha depende de mantener bajo control las hierbas.

TENGA CUIDADO CON SEÑALES:

Satán es un falsificador. Estoy asombrado en las supersticiones entre la gente. Ellos están orientados a la mala o buena suerte en lugar de la providencies de Dios. Ellos están listos para culpar a todo. Dios quiere liberarnos de estas cadenas.

TENGA CUIDADO CON ACONTECIMIENTOS ACCIDENTALES:

A menudo somos tentados a poner ciertas decisiones a pruebas erróneas, por ejemplo, en si sale el sol claro al día siguiente o si el día está nublado. Eso es “juego religioso.” Usted podría lanzar una moneda, y reducir a Dios a cara o cruz. Un juez que lanzara una moneda para decidir un caso, en vez de pesar las pruebas y determinar la verdad así, sería pensado insano. Aún algunas personas manipulan sus vidas en esta manera tonta.

¡Recuerde! Las pruebas de Dios, si se pregunta mil veces, siempre responden con la misma respuesta. Usted no se arriesga cuando hace las cosas de la manera de Dios. Cuando apuestas, minimizas la razón, cría la ignorancia, ofrece incienso a un dios falso, deja perpleja la conciencia, complace al diablo y entristece al Espíritu Santo.

Éstas son las artimañas usadas por “el mundo, la carne y el diablo” para engañar a la gente y atraerla a la destrucción. Son trampas sutiles y difíciles de detectar. Debemos superar esta vida a pesar de ellas. Con Dios todo es posible. Él nos ha prometido la victoria, porque nos ha dado poder sobre el diablo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

 

 

 

BEWARE

“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation…” (Matthew 26:41)

The Word of God tells us that the devil “cometh not, but to for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10). Satan would like you to do needless, unwise, untimely and ridiculous things. He wants to deceive you and make you believe that such promptings are from God. There is not one instance in the Bible where God led a person to do a strange thing. Summon these promptings before a court of examination! The Word of God tells us plainly “Try the spirits whether they be of God” (I John 4:1). But how do we do this?

WATCH YOUR FEELINGS:

Many people follow their feelings instead of their convictions. Too many don’t do things because they do not feel like it. When you allow yourself to be led by your feelings, it is like allowing yourself to be judged by a child.

WATCH YOUR IMAGINATIONS:

We all possess the power of fancy. The devil loves to use it. He will stretch his illusion upon it. Here is a favorite illusion of the devil. A person will have an impression that he ought to have a certain desirable appointment. He is quite sure he deserves it; and that he is better qualified for it than anyone else; and that life will be worthless if he does not receive it.

Such a person will live in the excitement of their pending appointment until he drools with the suspense and the prospect of immediate advantages that he feels sure must be theirs. Then the bubble bursts. The letdown is almost a sickness. There is such uncontrollable grief that it verges on a nervous breakdown. Satan has played a cruel trick on you.

WATCH YOUR DREAMS:

God has spoken to people through dreams. This was much more evident before the Holy Spirit was given. A dream may be of God, or it may be the result of an upset stomach. The Bible speaks of “false dreams” and “filthy dreamers,” and complains of those who cause the people to forget God by “their dreams”. (Jeremiah 23:27).

Do not hastily attribute things to God. Don’t easily suppose dreams, voices, impressions, visions, or revelations to be from God. They may be from Him. They may be from nature. They may be from the devil. Therefore believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are from God.”

WATCH YOUR IMPULSES:

Remember this; God never hurries people to do doubtful things. The devil does. He will always tell you, do it now! Wrong impulses have lead to many letdowns of disappointment, disgrace, wrong marriages, broken homes and shattered lives. Take your time! Test it! If you have a doubt about it, don’t do it. That is what happened to Peter when he drew his sword in the garden.

WATCH YOUR PREJUDICES AND PRECONCEIVED IDEAS:

This is a form of spiritual deafness. God had to speak very loudly to Peter. It was not easy to convince him that the gospel should be preached to the gentiles. Peter was given a vision and it had to be repeated before he understood. God always has to deal with prejudice in our hearts. These two judges; prejudice and preconceived ideas, always interpret messages according to their own views. They are thieves. They hinder our lives. They hinder success. They have misled millions.

WATCH THE FLESH:

The body often clamors for excessive and unlawful gratification. Appetite can run away with you. Your body will demand special treatment! (Galatians 5:17). The flesh must be “kept under control.” There is no other way. It is similar to weeds. It is a constant battle, but the harvest depends upon keeping the weeds under control.

WATCH SIGNS:

Satan is a counterfeiter. I am amazed at the superstitions among people. They are still geared to bad or good luck rather than the providences of God. They are ready to blame everything. God wants to free us from these shackles.

WATCH CHANCE HAPPENINGS:

We are often tempted to put certain decisions to erroneous tests, for instance, on whether the sun rises clear the next day or whether the day is cloudy. That is “religious gambling.” You might as well toss a coin, and reduce God to heads or tails. A judge who would toss a coin to decide a case, instead of weighing the evidence and determining the truth thereby, would be thought insane. Yet some people tamper with their lives in this foolish manner.

Remember! God’s tests, if questioned a thousand times, always respond with the same reply. You don’t take a chance when you go God’s way. When you gamble you dwarf reason, foster ignorance, offer incense to a false god, perplex the conscience, please the devil and grieve the Holy Spirit.

These are the devices used by “the world, the flesh and the devil” to mislead people and lure them to destruction. They are subtle pitfalls and not easily detected. We must make it through this life in spite of them. With God all things are possible. He has promised us victory, because He has given us power over the devil.

   

¿VAN A SER SALVOS TODOS LOS NIÑOS?

La cuestión de si los niños serán arrebatados en el rapto no se aborda explícitamente en las Escrituras, pero es un tema de debate. La Biblia no dice explícitamente qué sucederá con los bebés y niños pequeños en el rapto, pero pasajes como 2 Samuel 12:23 sugieren, pero no dicen explícitamente, que Dios se los llevará para estar con Él. Pasajes clave sobre el rapto, como Juan 14:1-3; 1 Corintios 15:51-58; 1 Tesalonicenses 4:13-18, no abordan esta cuestión.

Este es un tema del que rara vez hablamos o escudriñamos las Escrituras para descubrir qué dicen sobre este asunto tan importante. La mayoría de las personas dan por sentado que todos los niños serán salvos automáticamente, independientemente de si sus padres son salvos o no. Tendemos a pensar que Dios piensa y siente como nosotros. Pero debemos recordar que los pensamientos de Dios no son los nuestros (Isaías 55:8-9). Él no permite que los sentimientos ni las emociones humanas guíen sus decisiones.

DIOS NO CAMBIA:

Para entender cómo Dios trata con los niños pequeños, debemos consultar la Biblia. El Antiguo Testamento nos presenta una visión completa de cómo Dios obró y trató con las personas. En el Antiguo Testamento, cuando Dios salvó a un hombre justo, lo salvó a él y a su familia.

Para descubrir lo que la Biblia enseña sobre este asunto, debemos escudriñar las Escrituras para ver cómo Dios lo ha tratado en el pasado, y así podremos saber qué hará en el presente y en el futuro. Recordemos que Él es el mismo ayer, hoy y por los siglos (Malaquías 3; Hebreos 13:8).

¿Qué les sucederá a los niños cuando Jesús venga? ¿Serán automáticamente salvos? Mucha gente piensa que sí. La razón por la que piensan esto es porque leen versículos como Mateo 18:3 y 19:14. Pero ¿enseñan realmente esto estos versículos? Parece ser la afirmación de quienes sostienen esta perspectiva; pero es significativo que Cristo no dijo que los niños pequeños estaban "en el reino", sino que "de los tales es el reino". Hay una diferencia abismal. El énfasis está en el comportamiento y el carácter infantil.

¿Qué enseña la Biblia? Aunque a algunos les cueste creerlo, la Biblia no enseña que todos los niños serán salvos automáticamente. No hay un solo versículo o porción en la Biblia que siquiera dé la esperanza de que todos los niños serán salvos.

PACTOS FAMILIARES:

A lo largo de la historia, Dios siempre ha tratado con la humanidad sobre la base de un "pacto familiar". Las bendiciones, el cuidado y la salvación de Dios son como un paraguas: no solo cubre a quien lo sostiene, sino también a todos los que están debajo.

Ejemplos:

1. Dios hizo un pacto con Abraham y sus hijos antes de que tuviera hijos.

2. Dios salvó a Noé y a su familia: Génesis 6:18: “Pero contigo estableceré mi pacto; y entrarás en el arca tú, tus hijos, tu mujer y las mujeres de tus hijos contigo.” (Génesis 7:1) Cuando Dios destruyó la tierra con el diluvio, los niños pequeños perecieron.

3. Dios salvó a Lot y a su familia: Génesis 19:15-16: “Y al amanecer, los ángeles apresuraron a Lot, diciendo: Levántate, toma a tu mujer y a tus dos hijas que están aquí, para que no perezcas en la iniquidad de la ciudad. Y mientras él se detenía, los hombres asieron de su mano, de la mano de su mujer y de la mano de su la mano de sus dos hijas, por cuanto Jehová había mostrado su misericordia con él; y lo sacaron y lo pusieron fuera de la ciudad. Cuando Dios juzgó a Sodoma y Gomorra, niños pequeños fueron asesinados.

4. Dios mató a todos los primogénitos egipcios, sin perdonar a los niños pequeños en la noche del éxodo (Éxodo 12:29).

5. Durante el liderazgo de Moisés, Israel mató a niños pequeños (Deuteronomio 2:33-34).

6. Leemos en Josué 7:24-26 que, debido al pecado de Acán, toda su familia fue asesinada.

7. También hizo un pacto con David y su familia.

Cuando Dios mata y destruye, también mata a niños pequeños. Dios solo salva a su pueblo: la iglesia y los hijos de Israel. Aunque Dios creó a todos los seres humanos, no todos son su pueblo.

EL PACTO DE DIOS CON SU IGLESIA:

En el día de Pentecostés, Dios hizo un nuevo pacto con su iglesia (Hechos 2:38-39): «Porque para vosotros es la promesa y para vuestros hijos (salvación)». Hebreos 8 nos dice que Jesús hizo un “mejor pacto” con su iglesia.

Cada vez que Dios hizo un pacto, ¡lo hizo con un hombre y su familia! La protección divina se extendió a su familia imitadora (hijos) hasta que alcanzaron la edad suficiente para tomar su propia decisión de servir o rechazar a Dios.

Para ser salvo, una persona debe arrepentirse, bautizarse en el nombre de Jesús para el perdón de sus pecados y ser lleno del Espíritu Santo (Hechos 2:38). La única excepción sería “para vuestros hijos”, el pacto que Dios hizo con su iglesia.

La Biblia nos dice que Jesús regresará por una iglesia limpia (Efesios 5:27). El apóstol Pablo nos dice en 1 Corintios que los niños pequeños que son justos y santos a los ojos del Señor serán salvos: “Porque el marido incrédulo es santificado en la mujer, y la mujer incrédula en el marido; de otra manera, vuestros hijos serían inmundos, pero ahora son santos”. Si uno de los padres es justo y santo a los ojos del Señor, los hijos son limpios, y por lo tanto santos. Si ningún padre es justo y santo a los ojos del Señor, los hijos son impuros, y por lo tanto, injustos e impíos.

Según la ley, un hombre que se casaba con una mujer gentil (y, por consiguiente, era profano e impuro) se contaminaba y se veía obligado a despedirla; y sus hijos no tenían derecho a los privilegios judíos; eran rechazados como impuros (Esdras 10:3). Pero bajo el nuevo pacto es lo contrario. El esposo convertido santifica a la esposa, y viceversa, y sus hijos son considerados limpios ante Dios; tienen parte en los derechos del padre.

El término "impuro" es el término ceremonial de la ley judía que significaba ofrecer un sacrificio con una mancha. Si el sacerdote lo rechazaba, Dios no lo aceptaba. Si una persona no es salva, sus hijos son impuros (inaceptables). Dios los rechazará.

Dios solo salva a los santos. ¿Y qué significa esto? En el rapto, Dios solo salvará a los hijos santos y justos. Estos son los hijos pequeños cuyos padres, o ambos, son justos y santos. Recuerden que la esposa de Lot era rebelde, pero Lot era justo (2 Pedro 2:7-8). Por lo tanto, los hijos eran justos a los ojos del Señor porque Lot era justo y fueron salvos. Este es el principio que aplica si sus hijos irán al cielo o al infierno.

LA PRUEBA FINAL:

La Biblia dice en Mateo 24:37: “como en los días de Noé”. Recordarán que cuando vino el diluvio no había niños en el arca. Los únicos que se salvaron del diluvio fueron Noé, su esposa, sus hijos y sus esposas. Todos los niños murieron en el diluvio. La historia de Noé es un símbolo del Rapto de la Iglesia.

El capítulo 24 de Mateo habla de los últimos días antes del Rapto de la Iglesia. Leemos en el versículo 19: “¡Ay de las que estén encintas y de las que críen en aquellos días!”. Si todos los niños se salvan en el Rapto, ¿quiénes son todos los niños de los que habla Jesús?

Como padre, ustedes determinan si sus hijos son justos o no; si se salvarán o perecerán; si irán al cielo o al infierno.

Esto solo aplica a los niños que aún no han alcanzado la edad de la conciencia, es decir, que no conocen el bien y el mal. Los niños que han alcanzado la edad de la conciencia tienen la libertad de elegir a Dios o no. Elige el cielo o el infierno.

ARE ALL THE CHILDREN GOING TO BE SAVED?

 

The question of whether children will be taken in the rapture is not explicitly addressed in Scripture, but it is a topic of debate. The Bible does not explicitly state what will happen to babies and young children at the rapture, but passages like II Samuel 12:23 suggest, but does not explicitly say that God will take them to be with Him. Key rapture passages like: John 14:1-3; I Cor. 15:51-58; I Thess. 4:13-18, do not address this question.

This is one topic that we seldom talk about or search the Scriptures to find out what they have to say on this very important subject. Most people take it for granted that all the children will be automatically saved, regardless if their parents are saved or not. They assume this because they know that God is Love, and that children are innocent. Many times we as humans get caught up in our feelings and emotions. We tend to think that God thinks and feels like us. But we have to remember that God’s thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He does not let human feelings or emotions guide his decisions.

GOD DOES NOT CHANGE:

To understand how God deals with young children, we must look in the Bible. The Old Testament paints all pictures revealing to us how God worked and dealt with people. In the Old Testament, when God saved a righteous man, He saved him and his family.

In order to find out what the Bible teaches on this matter we have to search the Scriptures to see how God has dealt with this matter in the past, and then we can know what he will do in the present and in the future. Remember He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Malachi 3; Hebrews 13:8).     

What is going to happen to the children when Jesus comes? Well, they all be automatically saved? Many people think so. The reason that they think this is because they read such verses as Matthew 18:3 and 19:14. But do these verses really teach this? This seams to be the allegation of those who hold this view; but it is significant here that Christ did not say that little children were “in the kingdom,” but that “to such belongs the kingdom”! There is a world of difference. The emphasis is upon child-like behavior and character.

What does the Bible teach? As hard as it may be to believe for some, the Bible does not teach that all the children are going to be automatically saved. There is not one verse or portion in the Bible that even gives a hope that all the children are going to be saved. 

FAMILY COVENANTS:

Throughout time God has always dealt with man on a “Family Covenant Bases.” God’s blessings care and salvation is like an umbrella, it not only covers the person who holds the umbrella, but it also covers everyone under it.

Examples:

1. God made a covenant with Abraham and his children before he had any children.

2. God saved Noah and his family: Gen 6:18: “But with you I will establish my covenant; and you shall come into the ark, you, and your sons, and your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.” (Gen 7:1) When God destroyed the earth with the flood, young children perished.

3. God saved Lot and his family: Gen 19:15-16: “And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take your wife, and your two daughters, which are here; lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city. And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth and set him without the city.” When God judged Sodom and Gomorrah, young children were killed.

4. God killed all Egyptians firstborns not sparing young children in the exodus night (Ex 12:29).

5. During Moses leadership, Israel killed young children (Deut 2:33-34).

6. We read in Joshua 7:24-26, that because of the sin of Acan all his family was killed.

7. He also made a covenant with David and his family.

When God kills and destroys, young children are also killed. God only saves His people, the church and the children of Israel. Although God created every human being not all are His people.

GOD’S COVENANT WITH HIS CHURCH:

On the Day of Pentecost God made a new covenant with his church (Acts 2:38-39), “For the promise is unto you, and to your children (salvation).” Hebrews 8 tells us that Jesus made a “better covenant” with His church.

Every time that God made a covenant, He made it with a man and his family! God’s umbrella of protection extended out to his imitate family (children) until they became of age where they could make their own decision to serve or reject God.

To be saved a person must repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of his sins and be filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). The only exception would be “unto your children”, the covenant that God made with his church.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is coming back for a church that is clean (Efe.5:27). The Apostle Paul tells us in I Corinthians that the young children who are righteous and holy in the eyes of the Lord will be saved: “For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.”  If one parent is righteous and holy in the eyes of the Lord, the children are clean thus holy. If no parent is righteous and holy in the eyes of the Lord, the children are unclean thus unrighteous and unholy.

According to the law a man who married a woman of the gentiles (and was consequently profane and unclean) defiled himself and was compelled to send her away; and their children had no right to Jewish privileges; they were rejected as unclean (Ezra 10:3). But under the new covenant it is contrary. The converted husband sanctifies the wife, and viceversa, and their children are reckoned clean before God; they have part in the rights of the parent.

The term “unclean” is the ceremonial term of the Jewish Law which meant to offer a sacrifice which had a spot on it. The priest rejected it; God would not accept it. If a person is not saved, then their children are unclean (unacceptable). God will reject them. 

God only saves the holy and righteous, what does this mean? In the rapture, God will only save (rapture) the holy and righteous children. These are the young children whose one or both of the parent are righteous and holy. Remember, Lot wife was rebellious but Lot was righteous (II peter 2:7-8) thus the children were righteous in the eyes of the Lord because Lot was righteous and they were saved. This is the principle which applies if your children will go to heaven or hell. 

THE FINAL PROOF:

The Bible says in Matthew 24:37: “as it was in the days of Noah.” You will remember that when the flood came there were no children on the ark. The only ones saved from the flood were Noah, his wife and his sons and their wives. All the children died in the flood. The Story of Noah is a type of the Rapture of the Church.

Matthew chapter 24 talks about the last days before the Rapture of the Church! We read in verse 19: “And woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!” If all the children are saved at the Rapture, then who are all the children that Jesus is talking about here?

As a parent, you determine whether your children are righteous or not; whether they will be saved or perish, whether they will go to heaven or hell.

This only applies to children who have not reached the age of conscience, knowing good and bad. Children who have reached the age of conscience, they have the freedom to choose God or not; choose heaven or hell.

LA MULTIPLE GRACIA DE DIOS

1 Pedro 4:10

El apóstol Pedro instruye a los creyentes: “Cada uno según el don que ha recibido, minístrelo a los otros, como buenos administradores de la multiforme gracia de Dios”. La frase multiforme gracia de Dios capta la riqueza y diversidad de la gracia divina, expresada a través de los dones y talentos únicos otorgados a cada creyente. Las palabras de Pedro nos recuerdan que la gracia de Dios es una realidad increíble que nos capacita para diversos roles dentro del cuerpo de Cristo.

La multiforme gracia de Dios no se trata solo de la diversidad de dones, sino también de las diferentes maneras en que Su gracia obra en nuestras vidas. Santiago 1:17 nos recuerda: “Toda buena dádiva y todo don perfecto desciende de lo alto, del Padre de las luces, en el cual no hay mudanza ni sombra de variación”. La multiforme gracia de Dios se evidencia en cómo Él nos acompaña en diferentes circunstancias, proveyendo exactamente lo que necesitamos en el momento preciso. Ya sea fortaleza en el sufrimiento, sabiduría al tomar decisiones o consuelo en el dolor, la gracia de Dios es suficiente y se adapta perfectamente a nuestras situaciones.

Estamos llamados a ser buenos administradores de la multiforme gracia de Dios. La administración implica responsabilidad e intencionalidad. No debemos acumular ni descuidar los dones que Dios nos ha dado, sino usarlos activamente para el beneficio de los demás. Como escribe Pedro: “El que habla, hable según las palabras de Dios; el que sirve, hágalo por la fuerza que Dios da, para que en todo sea Dios glorificado por Jesucristo” (1 Pedro 4:11). Cuando se administra fielmente, la multiforme gracia de Dios glorifica a Dios y edifica a la Iglesia.

Multiforme en griego significa (poikilos): que significa diverso en carácter o diferente. Esta palabra se usa en otros pasajes del Nuevo Testamento que algunos de ustedes quizás conozcan: 1 Pedro 1:6: “En lo cual os alegráis grandemente, aunque ahora por un tiempo, si es necesario, tengáis que soportar diversas pruebas”; y Efesios 3:10: “Para que la multiforme sabiduría de Dios sea ahora dada a conocer por medio de la iglesia a los principados y potestades en los lugares celestiales”.

Algunas personas confunden gracia y misericordia. La gracia es 1) el gran poder de Dios que nos capacita para lograr lo que nos ha propuesto, 2) el favor inmerecido de Dios. Mientras que la misericordia es recibir menos de lo que merecemos. Esdras 9:13: “Pues tú, nuestro Dios, nos has castigado menos de lo que merecen nuestras iniquidades, y nos has dado tal liberación”.

DIFERENTES TIPOS DE GRACIA

GRACIA ABUNDANTE: (Romanos 5:20)

El mal abunda y la obra de Satanás y sus demonios aumenta en este mundo. “Enseñándonos que, renunciando a la impiedad y a los deseos mundanos, vivamos en este siglo sobria, justa y piadosamente, aguardando la esperanza bienaventurada y la manifestación gloriosa de nuestro gran Dios y Salvador Jesucristo, quien se dio a sí mismo por nosotros para redimirnos de toda iniquidad y purificar para sí un pueblo propio, celoso de buenas obras.” (Tito 2:12-14)

Podemos vivir en este mundo con el mal, con alcohólicos, drogadictos, con prostitución, con cigarrillos, con obesidad, con impiedad y con toda clase de opresión, porque donde abunda el pecado, sobreabunda la gracia.

Cuando el enemigo venga como un diluvio, el Espíritu del SEÑOR levantará bandera contra él (Isaías 59:19). En Hebreo dice: “Así como el enemigo viene como un diluvio, la ira de Jehová lo arrebatará”.

GRACIA SUFICIENTE: (II Corintios 12:9)

 “Y para que la abundancia de las revelaciones no me exaltase desmedidamente, me fue dado un aguijón en la carne: un mensajero de Satanás que me abofetee, para que no me enaltezca desmedidamente. Por esto tres veces rogué al Señor que lo apartara de mí. Y él me dijo: Bástate mi gracia; porque mi poder se perfecciona en la debilidad. Por tanto, de buena gana me gloriaré más bien en mis debilidades, para que repose sobre mí el poder de Cristo. Por lo cual, por amor a Cristo, me complazco en las debilidades, en los oprobios, en las necesidades, en las persecuciones y en las angustias; porque cuando soy débil, más que fuerte.” (II Corintios 12:7-10)

Pablo fue un hombre que mató a cristianos, y sin embargo, la gracia de Dios lo convirtió en el apóstol principal. Tenía una espina en la carne, probablemente mal de la vista, y probablemente jorobado, y algunos incluso dicen que tenía un impedimento para hablar; pero cuando hablaba, la gente se detenía y escuchaba. La gracia de Dios había tenido un tremendo impacto en la vida de Pablo.

Aquí estaba un hombre que sobrevivió a mucho dolor. “…trabajos más abundantes, azotes sin medida, cárceles más frecuentes, muertes muchas veces. De los judíos cinco veces recibí cuarenta azotes menos uno. Tres veces fui azotado con varas, una vez apedreado, tres veces sufrí naufragio, una noche y un día he estado en alta mar; en viajes muchas veces, en peligros de ríos, peligros de ladrones, peligros de mis compatriotas, peligros de los gentiles, peligros en la ciudad, peligros en el desierto, peligros en el mar, peligros entre falsos hermanos; en trabajo y fatiga, en muchas vigilias, en hambre y sed, en muchos ayunos, en frío y desnudez.” (II Corintios 11:23-27)

Y aun así, ¡este hombre amaba a Dios! Había aprendido a vivir en la gracia de Dios sin importar lo que le sucediera. No servimos a Dios solo porque las cosas van bien, sino porque Él nos ama y nos ha dado gracia y misericordia.

En la carrera que tenemos por delante, no solo gana el que termina primero, ¡sino todos los que terminan! Tenemos que aprender a continuar en la gracia. ¡Ignora el dolor y la tristeza, y sigue adelante con Dios! (Hechos 13:43)

GRACIA SALVADORA: (Efesios 2:8)

En Juan 3:1-8, Nicodemo aprendió sobre el reino y la gracia salvadora. La salvación es un regalo (Efesios 2:8). El Espíritu Santo es un regalo (Hechos 2:38). El agua viva es un regalo (Juan 4:10). La vida eterna es un regalo (Romanos 6:23). La gracia de Dios trae muchos dones al creyente. Ninguno de ellos es merecido, ninguno ganado, ninguno comprado. (Hechos 8:20)

Nos culpamos por las cosas que hacemos mal. Nos acusamos a nosotros mismos, nos hacemos inferiores a lo que somos y anulamos la gracia de Dios. Cuando pecas y piensas que Dios no te perdonará, ¡no es cierto! ¡Solo puedes fracasar si te rindes! Su gracia es infinita, más grande que el universo, y no hay nada que puedas hacer que la gracia de Dios no cubra si se lo pides.

Jesús les dijo a sus discípulos: “En el mundo tendréis tribulaciones; pero confiad; yo he vencido al mundo” (Juan 16:33). Su gracia puede salvarnos incluso en las tribulaciones y los problemas de la vida.

GRACIA ENSEÑADORA:

“Porque la gracia de Dios se ha manifestado para salvación a todos los hombres, enseñándonos que, renunciando a la impiedad y a los deseos mundanos, vivamos en este siglo sobria, justa y piadosamente” (Tito 2:11, 12).

La vida es una experiencia de aprendizaje. “Antes bien, creced en la gracia y en el conocimiento de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo”. (II Pedro 3:18) Cuando experimentamos problemas y mantenemos nuestra mente y corazón abiertos, aprendemos de nuestras experiencias.

Aprendemos a agradar a Dios, a vivir felices y a trabajar en armonía con los demás miembros de la iglesia. Su gracia nos enseña a estar unidos para cumplir nuestra labor. En Éxodo 13:18, la Biblia dice que la única manera en que los judíos lograron salir de la tierra de Egipto fue estando unidos.

“Justificados, pues, por la fe, tenemos paz con Dios por medio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo; por quien también tenemos acceso por la fe a esta gracia en la cual estamos firmes, y nos gloriamos en la esperanza de la gloria de Dios. Y no solo esto, sino que también nos gloriamos en las tribulaciones, sabiendo que la tribulación produce paciencia; y la paciencia, prueba; y la prueba, esperanza; y la esperanza no avergüenza, porque el amor de Dios ha sido derramado en nuestros corazones por el Espíritu Santo que nos fue dado.” (Romanos 5:1-5)

No nos critiquemos ni hablemos mal unos de otros, sino dejemos que la gracia de Dios nos enseñe a estar bien coordinados en una sola casa (Efesios 2:21). Cuando uno sufre, todos debemos sufrir; y cuando uno llora, todos debemos llorar (Filipenses 1:27). La gracia nos enseña a vivir por encima de este mundo.

GRACIA AYUDADORA:

“Acerquémonos, pues, confiadamente al trono de la gracia, para alcanzar misericordia y hallar gracia para el oportuno socorro” (Hebreos 4:16)

Siempre que necesites a Dios, hay un trono de gracia al que puedes acudir. No critiques a Dios cuando las cosas salgan mal, ¡acércate al trono de la gracia y encuentra ayuda!

El carbono, al calentarse y comprimirse, se convierte en un hermoso diamante. Si quieres ver las estrellas más hermosas que jamás hayas visto, encuentra la noche más oscura y mira hacia arriba. Alzaré mis ojos a los montes, de donde vendrá mi socorro, dijo David.

Adán y Eva pecaron en el Jardín, y Dios los juzgó sin piedad. Maldijo a Adán y a la tierra. Maldijo a Eva sin perdón. Pero cuando miró a la serpiente, su corazón se conmovió y prometió que la descendencia de la mujer heriría la cabeza de la serpiente. ¡Hay esperanza! ¡Y ayuda en Dios! “Porque en el día de angustia me esconderá en su pabellón; en lo secreto de su tabernáculo me ocultará” (Salmos 27:5) y en Salmos 46:1: “Dios es nuestro amparo y fortaleza, nuestro pronto auxilio en los momentos de angustia”.

Santiago 4:4, 6: “Cualquiera, pues, que quiera ser amigo del mundo se constituye enemigo de Dios”. Pero él da mayor gracia. Por eso dice: “Dios resiste a los soberbios, pero da gracia a los humildes”. La gracia de Dios puede ayudarte a superar el llamado del mundo; el llamado del mal.

ADMINISTRANDO LA GRACIA DE DIOS:

Nuestra escritura de referencia, 1 Pedro 4:10: “Cada uno según el don que ha recibido, minístrelo a los otros, como buenos administradores de la multiforme gracia de Dios”. Si quieres que la gracia de Dios sea eficaz en tu vida, debes administrarla adecuadamente. Somos administradores de su gracia.

Dos hechos importantes que siempre debemos recordar: Jesús es nuestro ejemplo. Debemos vivir como él vivió, sabiendo que él es perdonador, amoroso, bondadoso, tolerante y compasivo.

Jesús nos mandó a ministrar. No solo ministrar el Evangelio, sino ministrar la gracia que Él nos ha dado. “De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que en mí cree, las obras que yo hago, él las hará también; y aun mayores que estas hará”. (Juan 14:12)

En Mateo 10:7, 8, Jesús dijo: “Y yendo, predicad, diciendo: El reino de los cielos se ha acercado. Sanad enfermos, limpiad leprosos, resucitad muertos, echad fuera demonios. De gracia recibisteis, dad de gracia.”

En tu vida diaria, de gracia recibisteis, dad de gracia. Él quiere que seamos compasivos, perdonadores, bondadosos, que llevemos las cargas, amorosos, etc., como él lo fue.

La Biblia dice que los espíritus de los profetas están sujetos a los profetas (1 Corintios 14:32). Tú manejas el espíritu en ti. No es Dios quien mueve tus labios ni tus pies. No es Dios quien da testimonio; Él da la unción, la palabra, etc., pero nosotros hacemos la obra (1 Juan 2:20).

¿POR QUÉ LA GRACIA?

Su gracia puede guardarnos de caer y fallar. Mucha gente ora pidiendo ser sacada de este mundo, pero la verdadera victoria no está en salir de este mundo salvo. La verdadera victoria es vivir para Dios en este mundo presente. Jesús oró en Juan 17:15: “No ruego que los quites del mundo, sino que los guardes del mal”. Su gracia puede guardarnos. Nos guardará cuando nos insulten. Nos guardará cuando seamos débiles. Nos guardará cuando seamos fuertes. Nos guardará en la batalla, en la oración, en la fragilidad y en todo.

La multiforme gracia de Dios nos señala la fuente de toda gracia: Dios mismo. Su gracia es abundante y nunca se agota. Es multiforme. Al servirnos y ministrarnos unos a otros, nos nutrimos de la inagotable provisión de su gracia, que nos capacita para perseverar en nuestra fe y servicio. “Dios puede hacer que abunde en vosotros toda gracia, a fin de que, teniendo siempre en todas las cosas todo lo suficiente, abundéis para toda buena obra” ( II Corintios 9:8). Su gracia es abundante; es totalmente suficiente; es multiforme.

MANIFOLD GRACE OF GOD

 I Peter 4:10 

The apostle Peter instructs believers, “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” The phrase manifold grace of God captures the richness and diversity of God’s grace, expressed through the unique gifts and talents bestowed on each believer. Peter’s words remind us that God’s grace is an incredible reality that equips us for various roles within the body of Christ.

 The manifold grace of God is not just about the diversity of gifts but also the different ways His grace operates in our lives. James 1:17 reminds us, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change”. The manifold grace of God is evident in how He meets us in different circumstances, providing exactly what we need at just the right time. Whether it is strength in suffering, wisdom in decision-making, or comfort in grief, God’s grace is sufficient and perfectly tailored to our situations.

We are called to be “good stewards” of the manifold grace of God. Stewardship takes responsibility and intentionality. We are not to hoard or neglect the gifts God has given us but rather to use them actively for the benefit of others. As Peter writes, “Whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—so that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ” (I Peter 4:11). When faithfully stewarded, God’s manifold grace brings glory to God and edifies the Church.

 Manifold in the Greek is (Poikilos): meaning various in character or different. This word is used in other places in the New Testament that some of you may be familiar with: I Peter 1:6 “Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations” and Ephesians 3:10 “To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.”

Some people get grace and mercy confused. Grace is 1) the great enabling power of God to accomplish what He has set before us, 2) the unmerited favor of God. While Mercy is receiving less than you deserve. Ezra 9:13: “Seeing that thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this.”

 DIFFERENT TYPES OF GRACE

 ABOUNDING GRACE: (Romans 5:20)

 Evil abounds and the working of Satan and his demons are increasing in this present world. “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” (Titus 2:12-14)

 We can live in this present world with the evil, with alcoholics, with drug addicts, with prostitution, with cigarettes, with obesity, with ungodliness, and with all manner of oppression because where sin abounds grace does much more abound.

 “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). In the Hebrew it says, Even as the enemy comes in like a flood, the anger of Jehovah shall cause him to be taken away.

SUFFICIENT GRACE: (II Corinthians 12:9)

“And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, than am I strong.” (II Corinthians 12:7-10)

 Paul was a man that killed Christians and yet the grace of God made him the chief apostle. He had a thorn in the flesh, most probably bad eyes, and probably a hunch- back, and some even say he had a speech impediment; but when he spoke, people stopped and listened. The grace of God had made a tremendous impact on the life of Paul.

 Here was a man that lived through much pain. “. . . labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.” (II Corinthians 11:23-27)

 And yet, this man loved God! He had learned how to live in the Grace of God no matter what happened to him. We don't serve God just because things are going right, but we serve Him because He loves us and has given us Grace and Mercy!

 In the race that has been set before us, it is not only the one that finishes first that wins; it is all that finish that win! We have to learn to continue in Grace. Ignore the pain and the sorrow and go on with God! (Acts 13:43) 

 SAVING GRACE: (Ephesians 2:8)

 In John 3:1-8 Nicodemus learned about the kingdom and saving grace. Salvation is a gift (Ephesians 2:8). The Holy Ghost is a gift (Acts 2:38). Living water is a gift (John 4:10). Eternal life is a gift (Romans 6:23). The Grace of God brings many gifts to the believer. None of them are deserved, none earned, none bought (Acts 8:20).

 We blame ourselves for things we do wrong. We accuse ourselves and make ourselves less than what we are and we make the Grace of God of none effect. When you sin and think that God won't forgive you. That is not true! You can only fail if you quit! His grace is boundless, bigger than the universe and there is nothing you can do that God's grace will not cover if you ask.

Jesus told his disciples: In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33). His grace is able to save us even through the tribulations and troubles of life.

TEACHING GRACE

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world”. (Titus 2:11, 12)

Life is a learning experience. “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” (II Peter 3:18) When we experience problems and keep our minds and hearts open, we learn by our experiences. We learn how to please God, how to live our lives happily, and how to work in harmony with other church members. His grace teaches us how to be harnessed together to get our job accomplished. In Exodus 13:18 the Bible said that the only way the Jews made it out of the Land of Egypt was that they were harnessed together.

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hop: And hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Romans 5:1-5)

Let's not criticize one another and talk about one another, but let's let the grace of God teach us how to be fitly framed together into one house (Ephesians 2:21). When one suffers we should all suffer and when one cries we all should cry” (Philippians 1:27). Grace teaches us to live above this world.

HELPING GRACE:

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

Anytime you need God there is a throne of grace that you can find. Don't criticize God when things go wrong, go to the throne of grace and find help!

Carbon when it is heated and compressed turns into a beautiful diamond. If you want to see the most beautiful stars you've ever seen find the darkest night and look up. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help, David said.

Adam and Eve committed sin in the Garden, God judged them without mercy. He cursed Adam and cursed the earth. He placed a curse on Eve, without forgiveness. But when He looked at the serpent His heart was moved in Him and He promised the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent. There is a hope! And a Help in God! “For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me” (Psalms 27:5) and in Psalms 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

James chapter 4:4, 6 “Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God”. But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble”. God's grace is able to help you overcome the call of the world; the call of evil.

MANAGING THE GRACE OF GOD

Our reference scripture, I Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If you want the grace of God to be effective in your life, you must properly manage it. We are the stewards of His grace.

Two important facts that we should always remember. Jesus is our example. We should live the way he lived and, that He is forgiving, loving, kind, burden-bearing and compassionate.

Jesus commanded us to minister. Not just minister the Gospel, but to minister the grace that He has given to us. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do. (John 14:12)

In Matthew 10:7, 8 Jesus said: And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

As you go about your everyday lives, freely ye have received, freely give. He wants us to be compassionate, forgiving, kind, burden-bearing, loving, etc. just like he was.

The Bible says that the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. (I Corinthians 14:32) You manage the spirit in you. It is not God that moves your lips or your feet. It is not God that witnesses; He gives the unction, utterance, etc. but we do the work. (I John 2:20)

WHY GRACE?

His grace is able to keep us from falling and failing. Many people pray about being taken out of this world, but true victory is not in leaving this world saved. True Victory is living for God in this present world. Jesus prayed in John 17:15: “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” His Grace is able to keep us. It will keep us when men revile us. It will keep us when we are weak. It will keep us when we are strong. It will keep us in battle, in prayer, in frailty, and in all things.

The manifold grace of God points us to the source of all grace—God Himself. His grace is abundant and never exhausted. It is “many-folded.” As we serve and minister to one another, we draw from the endless supply of His grace, which empowers us to persevere in our faith and service. “God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work” (II Corinthians 9:8). His grace is abounding; it is all-sufficient; it is manifold.

 

 

 

 

EL SILENCIO DE DIOS

Salmos 13:1-2

En la vida cristiana, no es raro que los creyentes atraviesen momentos en los que sienten que Dios calla. Esta experiencia puede ser desconcertante, especialmente cuando enfrentamos circunstancias difíciles y buscamos desesperadamente una palabra, una señal o un indicio de la presencia divina. Sin embargo, si Dios está callado no es algo nuevo ni es una señal de Su ausencia. A lo largo de la Biblia, encontramos ocasiones en los que Dios parecía guardar silencio, y en cada uno de ellos podemos descubrir lecciones profundas que fortalecen nuestra fe y nos invitan a perseverar.

La Escritura nos presenta varios ejemplos donde parece que Dios guarda silencio, pero siempre hay un propósito más allá de lo que podemos comprender a simple vista:

EN EGIPTO: (Éxodo 1:8-14)

Durante 400 años, el pueblo de Israel vivió en Egipto. Al principio, su estadía fue favorable, pero con el tiempo se convirtieron en esclavos bajo el yugo de faraones que no conocían a José ni a las obras de Dios. Durante este periodo, podría parecer que Dios había abandonado a Su pueblo. Sin embargo, en Éxodo 2:24-25, leemos que Dios escuchó el clamor de los israelitas y recordó Su pacto con Abraham, Isaac y Jacob. Aunque parecía que Dios estaba callado, Él estaba preparando el camino para liberar a Su pueblo y revelar Su poder de manera poderosa a través de Moisés.

JOB:

La historia de Job es otro ejemplo clásico. Job, un hombre justo y temeroso de Dios, perdió todo: sus hijos, su riqueza y su salud. En medio de su sufrimiento, clamó a Dios en repetidas ocasiones, pero parecía no haber respuesta.

Job incluso expresó su frustración: “¡Quién me diera el saber dónde hallar a Dios! Yo iría hasta su silla” (Job 23:3). Sin embargo, al final del libro, Dios habló a Job (Job 38) y le recordó Su soberanía. Aunque Job no recibió todas las respuestas, su fe fue refinada y restaurada.

EL PERIODO INTERTESTAMENTARIO:

Otro notable periodo en el cual Dios está aparentemente callado, se encuentra entre el Antiguo y el Nuevo Testamento, conocido como el periodo intertestamentario. Durante aproximadamente 400 años, no hubo profetas ni revelaciones directas registradas.

A pesar de lo anterior, Dios estaba obrando tras cortinas, preparando el escenario para la llegada de Su Hijo, Jesucristo. Este periodo nos recuerda que cuando Dios calla no significa inactividad.

JESÚS EN LA CRUZ:

El momento culminante se encuentra en el Gólgota, cuando Jesús, colgado en la cruz, clamó: “Dios mío, Dios  mío, ¿Por qué me has desamparado?” (Mateo 27:46). En ese momento, El Señor experimentó el completo abandono por causa de nuestro pecado. Dios aparentemente estaba callado, pero no era sin propósito; al contrario, era el acto redentor más significativo de la historia.

¿POR QUÉ DIOS GUARDA SILENCIO?

Puede ser una prueba para nuestra fe, pero también tiene propósitos que pueden ayudarnos a crecer espiritualmente.

1. REFINAR NUESTRA FE

     El apóstol Pedro escribe: “para que sometida a prueba vuestra fe, mucho más preciosa que el oro, el cual aunque perecedero se prueba con fuego, sea hallada en alabanza, gloria y honra cuando sea manifestado Jesucristo” (1 Pedro 1:7). Cuando Dios calla se nos lleva a depender completamente de Él, incluso cuando no vemos ni entendemos lo que Él está haciendo. Este proceso puede ser doloroso, pero produce una fe más genuina y sólida.

2. ENSEÑARNOS A ESPERAR

     En el Salmo 27:14, David nos anima: “Aguarda a Jehová; esfuérzate, y aliéntese tu corazón; sí, espera a Jehová”. La espera es una parte esencial de la vida cristiana. Aprendemos a confiar en el tiempo perfecto de Dios y a rendir nuestras agendas a Su voluntad.

3. PROBAR NUESTRA MOTIVACIÓN

     A veces, cuando Dios calla nos desafía a examinar nuestro corazón. ¿Buscamos a Dios solo por lo que puede hacer por nosotros, o lo buscamos por Quién es Él? En medio de esto, aprendemos a amar a Dios no por Sus dones, sino por Su persona.

4. PREPARARNOS PARA UN MAYOR PROPÓSITO

     Así como en el periodo intertestamentario, cuando Dios calla puede ser una señal de que Dios está preparando algo grande. A veces, necesitamos esperar y confiar en que Él está obrando aunque no lo veamos.

¿CÓMO ENFRENTARLO?

Cuando Dios no dice una sola palabra a nuestra vida, nuestra respuesta es crucial. Aquí hay algunas maneras prácticas de mantenernos firmes:

1. AFÉRRATE A SU PALABRA

     La Biblia es la revelación escrita de Dios y siempre está disponible para guiarnos. En los momentos en que Dios calla, meditar en las promesas de Dios nos da fortaleza y dirección. Romanos 15:4 nos recuerda que las Escrituras nos dan “ánimo y esperanza”.

2. PERSEVERA EN LA ORACIÓN

     Aunque sientas que tus oraciones no tienen respuesta, sigue orando. En Lucas 18:1-8, Jesús contó la parábola de la viuda persistente para enseñarnos a no desmayar en la oración. La perseverancia demuestra nuestra fe y confianza en Dios.

3. RECUERDA SU FIDELIDAD PASADA

     Mirar atrás y recordar cómo Dios ha sido fiel en el pasado puede darnos esperanza en el presente. Como dice el Salmo 77:11: “Me acordaré de las obras de JAH; sí, haré yo memoria de tus maravillas antiguas”.

4. BUSCA COMUNIDAD

     El cuerpo de Cristo está para animarnos y apoyarnos en momentos de dificultad. Hablar con otros creyentes, escuchar sus testimonios y orar juntos puede ayudarnos a superar los momentos en que sentimos que Dios no actúa.

5. RINDE TUS PLANES A DIOS

     A menudo, cuando Dios calla nos desafía a soltar el control y confiar en Él completamente. Proverbios 3:5-6 nos invita: “Fíate de Jehová de todo tu corazón, y no te apoyes en tu propia prudencia. Reconocerlo en todos tus caminos, y él enderezará tus veredas”.

EL PODER DEL SILENCIO

Cuando Dios calla no es un rechazo ni una ausencia; es una oportunidad para crecer en fe, aprender a escuchar Su voz de maneras inesperadas y experimentar Su paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento. Como dice Habacuc 2:20: “Mas Jehová está en su santo templo; calle delante de él toda la tierra.”. Aun callando, podemos encontrar a un Dios que está plenamente presente y activo.

Cuando sentimos que Dios está callado puede ser difícil de soportar, pero es un recordatorio de que nuestra fe no depende de emociones o circunstancias, sino de la verdad de Quién es Él. En esos momentos, somos llamados a confiar, esperar y buscar a Dios con todo nuestro corazón. Al final, descubriremos que incluso cuando Dios parece inactivo, está hablando y obrando para nuestro bien y Su gloria eterna.
